Alex J. Nelson, MD

Neurology and Pain Management

Dr. Nelson is our supervising/collaborating physician, and only see patients at his location.

Dr. Alex Jonathan Nelson was born and raised in northern Utah. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, he attended "The Ohio State University College of Medicine".
In addition to his medical doctorate, he also completed the requirements for a Master of Health Administration in the OSU College of Public Health after receiving a university graduate fellowship.

Dr Nelson is board certified in Neurology and Pain Management. Dr. Nelson will be seeing patients with any type of chronic pain, but has particular clinical interest in the treatment of headaches and neuropathic pain conditions.
Dr. Nelson is very happy to be returning to his roots in northern Utah. Outside of medicine, his interests include literature, outdoors, watching the Utes and Buckeyes play football, church service, and spending time with his beautiful wife, two crazy little boys and sweet little girl.

Bryan Hainsworth

PA-C

Bryan comes from a microbiology and immunology background. He trained in Pain Management and Addiction Medicine as part of his Masters of Science of Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences in southern California. He has worked in both interventional and medication-based pain management from a physiatry and neurology background. His personal interests and field of study include the use of hormone replacement therapy and physical therapy as an adjunctive and replacement for traditional pain management.

Scott Werner

Scott joins our team with many years of pain management experience, with a general focus of injection therapy. He obtained his Physicians Assistant Degree at the University of Utah. Has a background in Pediatrics, first working in the NBICU at the University Hospital right after graduating and onto a Pediatrics practice where he was for 12 years. He then worked with the Police and Fire Departments through the Salt Lake County Health Department. Scott helped organize the Medical Reserve Corps of Salt Lake County. He then jumped into Emergent Care in Lake Powell and Urgent Care, where he discovered Pain Management starting with Injection therapy and progressed into Med management and has been since. His personal interests include playing the bagpipes and Old Hotrods.

Adrienne Boyle

FNP-C

Adrienne Hayford Boyle, a seasoned Family Nurse Practitioner, brings 25 years of expertise in pediatric congenital heart care and intensive care nursing. Her professional ethos centers on family-centered care, dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for her patients. Adrienne's educational background is extensive, including an FNP from Chamberlain University, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Utah, and an Associate degree in Nursing from Weber State University. Committed to a balanced lifestyle, she actively engages in outdoor pursuits with her family, encompassing hiking, camping, and enriching road trips.
